Black Box Songwriter Concert Series featuring Ronny Cox
Ronny Cox will perform at the Black Box Songwriter Concert Series on Sunday, July 9, 6:30 p.m., at the Medical City Lewisville Grand Theater.
The Black Box Songwriter Series focuses on acoustic concerts by talented songwriters in the intimate setting of the Black Box Theater.
Ronny Cox is a superbly talented singer-songwriter, musician and actor who has been active in the music world and Hollywood for over 40 years.
Raised in Portales, New Mexico, Ronny’s look of familiarity makes him one of Hollywood’s most versatile character actors. His first time in front of a camera featured him playing guitar in the Dueling Banjos scene in Deliverance. He has also appeared in Beverly Hills Cop, Total Recall, Taps, Bound for Glory, The Onion Field for over 125 movies and television appearances. Despite success in movies and TV, what he loves most is singing and playing the guitar. According to him, nothing cuts through to the heart like music. The acting experience simply enhances his musical and song-writing skills.
